1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sicus Media at app.sicusmedia.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sicus Media is an AI-powered salon management platform that provides appointment scheduling, client management, staff management, marketing tools, advertising insights, online booking, and business analytics for salons and similar businesses. The Service may integrate with third-party platforms including Google Business Profile and Google Ads to provide enhanced business management features.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One salon account may have multiple team members with different roles (Owner, Admin, Staff).
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Send spam or unsolicited messages through the platform's notification features.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities.
  • Use the Service to violate Google's terms of service or any other third-party platform's terms.
  • Attempt to extract, scrape, or collect data from the Service by automated means beyond what is provided through the user interface.

5. Client Data

Salon owners are responsible for the client data they collect and store through the Service. You must comply with applicable privacy laws when collecting and using client information (phone numbers, names, appointment details). You represent that you have obtained all necessary consents from your clients to store their data on the platform.

6. SMS and Email Notifications

The Service may send SMS and email notifications on your behalf (appointment reminders, confirmations, promotions). You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from recipients before sending marketing messages. Notification usage is subject to your plan's credit allowance.

7. Google API Integrations

The Service integrates with Google APIs to provide the following features:

  • Google Business Profile: View and manage your business reviews, business information, and online presence directly from your Sicus Media dashboard.
  • Google Ads: View advertising campaign performance, metrics, and spend information to manage your salon's advertising within the platform.

By connecting your Google account, you authorize Sicus Media to access the specific Google data described above via OAuth. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or within the Sicus Media platform. Use of Google data is subject to our Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Other Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with additional third-party services (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Resend for email, OpenAI for AI features). Use of these integrations is subject to both our terms and the respective third party's terms. You may disconnect integrations at any time.

9. Service Plans and Credits

The Service offers Free and Pro plans. Features may vary between plans. Each salon receives a monthly SMS credit allowance that resets on a rolling basis. Additional credits may be earned through rewards or purchased. We reserve the right to modify plan features with reasonable notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and features, is owned by Sicus Media. You retain ownership of all data you input into the platform. Content generated by AI features (e.g., promotional images, business insights) is provided for your use within the platform and your business operations.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, missed appointments, data loss, or inaccuracies in third-party data (including Google Ads or Business Profile data).

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and all Google API connections will be automatically revoked.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification.
